Living Time Films Ltd.
Shortly after the founding of the
Living Time venture, the business moved to London where
it set in motion a number of projects that it would follow through
over a several year period. At that time the venture in which
the business put most of its energy was that to exhibit and distribute
films in the United Kingdom that had either been unseen or else
unjustly forgotten up until then, for which it primarily founded
Living Time Films Ltd. - This was obvious from the number
of classic films that were still not available on video. And
it was obvious from the personal responses that Living Time
Films Ltd. received from half a dozen directors (among whom
Liliana Cavani, Henry Jaglom and Just Jaeckin) that they themselves
would be far happier if these films were to be seen again and
they were to receive some recompense from them. It was not possible
to have predicted it at the time, but it turned out the involvement
with the films of one director alone would
necessitate the exclusion of the others.
